Other Famous Non-members of Lodge Canoblas Lewis

So today, we will take a stroll down the days of the week to Thursday, or, Thursdy as it is said in the glorious & poetic New South Welsh language.

Those out there will not be surprised to know that Thursday is named after an ancient the Germanic god; Thor. And today we will look at the Masonic Activities of Thor in the Central West of New South Wales.

Despite modern depictions in the Movies, Thor has Red hair. He is strong & a fearless defender of Mankind, mainly from our enemies - the Frost Giants. His father is Odin (also known as Woden - see this Post Here!). His wife was called Sif, and he had some sons too Modi & Magni.

As any fan of the Marvel Movies will tell you, Thor has a magic Hammer called Mjolnir & he is the only person able to lift this mighty tool. Which straight away, points to the WMs gavel doesn't it?

In addition to the magic hammer, he has a rather unique way of getting about the place; Instead of a car, or cloud, or a boat, he rides on a Goat Cart. Pulled by two monstrous Goats - straight away, the mention of Goats piques the Masonic ears doesn't it!
Interesting factoid, these goats are called Gnasher & Grinder... I am not too sure where further investigation would take us on that front...

So, It may come as something of a surprise for you, but today I will CONFIRM that Thor is a Freemason... somewhere... in the Central West of New South Wales... BUT, he is not a member of Lodge Canoblas Lewis; as WE meet on Monday nights & Thor's sacred day is Thursday it is quite obvious that Thor IS, therefore, a member of Lodge Canowindra; they meet on Thursdays! In Canowindra.

I will at this point say that when he Gavels using Mjolnir, the earth moves!

So, If you would like to see if a Norse God is the Master of a Lodge, perhaps Lodge Canowindra may be of interest to you; however, as no-one joins a Lodge with the purpose of furthering their social status, perhaps the good natured fraternity of a Canoblas Lewis Monday night may be of interest to you!

So Mote it Be!

IMPORTANT: If you live closer to Canowindra rather than Orange & are interested in Lodge Canowindra, please feel free to contact Us & we will send you in the right direction.
