Web of Hate!

Brethren

It has come to our attention that many people in the web actively promote hatred… as strange as it may seem too the modern day man, many Internet users seem to enjoy being nasty-pasties and spreading Internet posts with a very malicious theme.

This is Most Unmasonic indeed. And even worse,  biased hatred of this type makes YOU look like a raving fringe dwelling nutter.

We call upon all members of Lodge Canoblas Lewis to reject this all too easy click, forward & share of hatred. We call upon all to be the “bigger” & “better” man & stop sharing hatred.

We are of course talking about the #hatecoriander phenomenon.

Poetic Yes, But Nasty!

I don't think that this is the sort of slogan that won Ol' Blighty an Empire...

It refers to the percentage of the population who do not like this herb. This herb that is most commonly used in Thai cooking seems to have polarized so many.

Why hate coriander?  For that matter, why would one hate Parsley?  Or Garlic?

We at Canoblas Lewis plead for tolerance for not just coriander but for all the many herbs in the world. They are just herbs. Just being eaten. Why pick on the fragrant and frilly one?

It causes us much distress to think that people actively promote the hatred of a tangy Oriental parsley, hate speech directed at it could be directed at all herbs just as easily, and this is not masonic at all.

We are serious. People all over social media are clogging up the social feed of the Canoblas Lewis social media accounts with hate speech about their dislike of coriander. This ridiculous hate speech must stop! It makes us all the lesser for it. We call upon all to act as Masons do & look for the best & mot to promote the negative.

So please,  love Thai food or don't... or love Italian food or don't… but please don't hate the ingredients! Just let the ingredients be - live & let live!

So Mote it Be!
